  • The Ridge is a minimalist, RFID-blocking wallet. The main cardholder uses elastic to expand to hold up to 12 IDs and credit cards. The typical leather bi-fold gets packed with faded receipts and unnecessary cards, resembling something more like a suitcase rather than a wallet. The Ridge is minimalist without being limiting. It’s about carrying less but always having what you need.

Cash Strap: A thin and versatile elastic. Ideal for carrying: cash, ID's, or RFID-enabled cards.
Money Clip: A traditional money clip made from spring steel. Ideal for carrying: cash, RFID-enabled cards, or business cards.

Excellent craftsmanship!

I was very impressed with materials used in this wallet. It also made me rethink the contents of my carry wallet. There was not much of a learning curve, I put the cards I used the most in the front and I believe it takes me less time to access what I need than my old leather wallet.

I’ll never go back to a leather wallet

First of all, the Ridge is the jam! I love it and I’ll never go back to a traditional leather wallet again. I think once the elastic strap wears out on the money strap I’ll swap it out for the money clip. The money clip is just more user friendly in terms of getting your cash put away quickly at the register but I do like the low profile and lightweight features of the money strap.

Getting used to a new type of wallet

It's hard to give a star rating after only using the wallet for a few weeks. That said, I do find that I enjoy and have survived carrying less clutter and that is mostly good. I transferred a few of my health related cards to my phone and hope that this doesn't come back to haunt me in the future. I did send for the elastic strap to replace the money clip as I could also bundle things like receipts more efficiently. So... in concluding, I am enjoying having a small wallet that I can now carry in my front pocket.
